Eli Rudavsky is a writer, filmmaker, and film editor from New York City.
From 2020-21, he worked as an editor with Terrence Malick on his forthcoming feature film. Since then he has worked with award-winning filmmakers Naeem Mohaiemen, Javier Téllez, and Laj Waghray. He has also worked in post production for Neon Rated, PBS, and Sony Pictures.
His short film “Runaway” premiered at the 2023 Warsaw Jewish Film Festival. His work has also screened at Comfort Station in Chicago, and his writing has appeared in The Nation, Screen Slate, Chicago Review, and elsewhere.
He received his BA from the University of Chicago, and is currently an MFA student in NYU Tisch’s Graduate Film Program.
